Duke Gardens: A Treasure Remembered - Thursday, May 3 at

Designed by Doris Duke and opened to the public in 1964, these gardens were closed on May 25, 2008 after 44 years. All that now remains are treasured photo memories of a place which one visitor described as “heaven”. Guest speaker: Dorothy Smullen, teacher-naturalist at NJ Audubon, and featured speaker from the Watchung Hills Gardeners Club. Registration is required to attend this free program.
