Meet Your New Year's Resolutions and Goals at the Warren Township Library
Ringing in the new year of 2013, usually brings thoughts of New Year's Resolutions and how to meet your goals. Well, the Warren Township Library has several free programs to help you check off your resolutions.
If improving your health is on the top of your list, the library is offering three programs in our New Year's Resolution Series. At 2 pm on January 5, our Health and Fitness program with expert Joe Stein will show you how making small changes can help you achieve your weight management and fitness goals. His "Tools and Rules" will offer guidance on many issues including portion control in the real world, healthy snacking techniques and finding ways to fit in exercise. Keeping Your Mind Sharp
January 23, 7 pm to 8:15 pm
Cynthia S. Kusorgbor, Certified Health Education Specialist, will discuss how to recognize the effects of normal aging on the brain and ways to improve brain function with specific "brain exercise." Registration is required and you can call (908) 754-5554 x64 or sign up online.
Get Organized!
January 26, 2 pm to 3:15 pm
Did you make a New Year’s resolution to clean your attic, basement or garage? Or do you just want a little more control over your life? Using the Nine Habits of Reasonably Organized People -- simple habits anyone can learn -- you can finally master the recipe for an organized life. Over time, they will help you understand and manage the changes life inflicts on you. Based on the work of organizer Kathy Waddill, the nine strategies answer the questions “Why did things get this way?” and “How can they be fixed?”. Organize Your Photos - Out of the Box and Into Your Life!

Do you have piles of pictures you never seem to get to? Maybe you have hundreds of digital photos clogging up your computer or portable devices? Certified Professional Organizer Amara Willey will share tips and secrets to getting your print and digital photos organized so you can start enjoying the memories. Keeping Up the Beat: Heart Health
February 13, 7 pm to 8:15 pm
In this interactive workshop with Cynthia S. Kusorgbor, Certified Health Education Specialist, learn about disease management and prevention by learning to identify what changes can be made to achieve a healthier lifestyle, regardless of one's age.
